锂离子电池如何用好纳米级Si负极?


随着锂离子电池能量密度的持续提高,传统的石墨材料已经无法满足高比能电池的需求,Si材料理论容量可达4200mAh/g(Li4.4Si),嵌锂电压与石墨材料接近,是一种理想的负极材料。但是Si负极在嵌锂后体积膨胀高达300%以上,这不仅仅会造成Si颗粒自身的粉化与破碎,还会破坏电极的结构,导致活性物质剥落,同时反复的体积膨胀还会造成电极的导电网络的破坏,引起部分活性物质无法参与充放电反应,同时巨大的体积膨胀还会造成负极SEI膜的破坏和再生长,这都会导致Si负极的循环性能远远不如石墨材料。因此Si负极的应用需要从两大方面着手:1)做好电极结构的稳定性,减少体积膨胀导致的活性物质损失;2)改善SEI膜的结构稳定性,减少电解液的分解和活性Li的消耗。
